Despite the restrictions imposed on us by the COVID pandemic we have remained open to serve the needy of our community by serving hot meals on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) and also food bags.

We have given out more than 10000 hot meals and 4000 food bags to date serving many of the most needy.

We are also making every effort to ensure that families, who are struggling in our community can have a happy Christmas and to this end we have been collecting toys and gifts to distribute and hand out on the run up to Christmas.

We also plan to serve out 150 Christmas dinners nearer to Christmas as we are unable to have our usual Christmas dinner at our centre.

We hope to have around 25 hampers to give to people who have no family around them to ensure they have a dinner for Christmas day as normally Preshal staff would have invited them to share their family day.
