Tracey and Jono are running the London Marathon 2026 to raise vital funds for a small children's charity local to Wareham in Dorset. The childcare setting provides a lifeline to parents enabling them to access wraparound childcare for school aged children.

The childcare setting offers play opportunities to children aged 4 - 12 years inside and out. We live in a world where childrens free time is often controlled by adults. Although it's fantastic we have such opportunities for children its also important for adults to just step back slightly and allow children to play freely. Deciding for themselves within a richly resourced environment where they would like to take their leisure time. Giving them the time to socialise with peers, be imaginative, build and invent games, role-play and be creative with a range of resources. Allowing children to be children in a safe, secure and enriching environment is our main aim.

We have through external grants and support been able to offer subsided places to children ( those who do not pay fees to attend) who may not have attended the setting otherwise. This can be due to cost or life circumstances. We have improved the lives of others by offering these sessions. We also support and take part in HAF ( Holidays and Food) where children eligible receive free care and a hot meal in school holidays.

All money raised from the London Marathon will help support our wonderful charity this next year !
