Story

Three-year-old Luna Walker from Faversham in Kent has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and cerebral vision impairment following a birth injury Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy grade 3 at birth. She has never been able to walk, talk or play with her one-year-old brother Forest. Due to Lunas brain injury, her mobility and ability to communicate are affected. She is entirely dependent on others. She has regular helpful physio, occupational, speech and language and vision impairment therapy sessions.

Just4Children are helping support our Princess Luna who is to undergo Stem Cell Treatment which could massively improve her quality of life. This is because stem cells have the power to replace, repair and regenerate damaged or diseased tissue. Luna needs this treatment to provide her with the best chances of gaining some independence and functional skills.

Unfortunately, Luna's conditions are lifelong therefore this would be one of the best chances she has for major improvements.

Stem cell therapy has had a lot of great outcomes for children with cerebral palsy and vision impairment. And positive testimonials are growing daily.

Luna inspires me as a parent and person to do the best I can for myself and for her. She fights and struggles every day for the things we take for granted which is heart-breaking and feels so unfair. She deserves us to fight just as hard. She is our world, so we want to be able to give her the world.

Thank you
