For over 40 years, Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust (NCH&C) staff have provided specialist palliative and end-of-life care for patients across Norfolk.

Patients at the new Priscilla Bacon Hospice continue to be cared for by a multi-disciplinary NHS team. NCH&Cs specialist palliative care nurses and health care assistants provide intensive 24- hour care, which is supported by specialist palliative care doctors and support staff.

With your support, we can enhance the facilities that NHS funding alone can provide by providing specialist equipment, trialling new services, enhancing the ward environment and offering patient wellbeing experiences.

We also provide welfare support and training for the dedicated NHS staff who provide patient care at the hospice.

Your donations make a real difference. We've funded a new outdoor space for patients and visitors, daily newspapers for patients to feel connected to news, specialist equipment for blood transfusions, recliner chairs, televisions for entertainment, aromatherapy sessions, Christmas parties for patients, profiling beds, staff training, patient information leaflets, dementia clocks, digital reminiscence therapy equipment and Christmas 'send home' packages for patients' families.

We work in partnership with the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity (Reg Charity No 1166579) to provide a care experience at the Priscilla Bacon Hospice that goes above and beyond standard NHS provision.
