Help us bring Christmas JOY to local families in need.

In 2022 and 2023, we exceeded our goal to raise over £5000 towards covering the costs of our Christmas Holiday Box project - and added an additional £10 voucher to each box - bringing much festive joy to families struggling this Christmas.

This year, we are asking for your support to continue this wonderful tradition.

In 2022, Shepherd's Star was inspired by our local community to launch a Christmas funding campaign to support families in need over the festive season.

The goal was simple: to provide families facing hardship with a delicious Christmas food hamper, filled with everything they need for a joyful Christmas meal.

Each Christmas Holiday Box includes supplies for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day

* A Christmas roast with all the trimmings

* A selection of pantry essentials to last through the holidays

* Seasonal fruit and vegetables

* Desserts, chocolates & biscuits

* Festive Christmas Crackers for that special touch!

To ensure these hampers reached the families who needed them most, we partnered with Achieving for Children, who identified 70 families across the Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Each Christmas Holiday Box costs around £65 - and we would love to add a £10 voucher again, so families can purchase their own finishing touches to their Christmas dinner.

We couldn't do this without the unwavering support of our community partners, volunteers, and local businesses.
