Story
We are PSDS - a family-run charity that changes lives by bringing families together to share information, access specialist services and support, raise awareness and raise expectations about what a diagnosis of Down syndrome really means. We have seen first-hand that with the right level of support, a positive approach to inclusion and access to the same opportunities as their peers and siblings, individuals who have Down syndrome can reach their full, individual potential. We have to raise £100,000 a year to continue offering services that directly benefit young people with Down syndrome and their families. Our Mar-ch-athon campaign is a fun way to help us do that! Individually or as part of a team, you can take part in the PSDS Mar-ch-athon and complete your 26.2 miles during Down Syndrome Awareness Week (21-27 March) or over as many days in March as you wish. Get ready to put your best foot forward and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people who have Down syndrome.
