Story
Being a sanctuary means always being ready when an animal needs help.
Sometimes it's a routine vaccination. Sometimes it's an elderly resident needing ongoing medication. Sometimes it's an unexpected injury that requires urgent vet treatment.
Right now, Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary is facing a growing veterinary bill, and we need your help.
Where we are today:
Current outstanding veterinary bill: £3,000
Recent and upcoming veterinary costs include:
• Veterinary assessment and treatment for Ambrose the goat following a recent injury.

• Further treatment for Zeus the goat as he has a recurring abscess.

• Annual rabbit vaccinations and health checks.

• Daily pain relief medication for some of our elderly residents.
• Sheep worming and fly strike prevention treatments.
• Ongoing health checks, parasite treatments and emergency care for over 80 rescued animals.
• Neutering of rescued piglet boys.

We want to be completely transparent about where your donations will go.
Every penny raised through this appeal will go directly towards covering these vet bills.
We are entirely volunteer-led. We receive no government funding and rely on the kindness of supporters to ensure our animals receive the care they deserve.
When an animal arrives here, we make them a promise: they will be safe, loved and cared for, no matter what.
Your donation helps us keep that promise.
Thank you for supporting our animals.
