Support Team Pure Insight as we take on the iconic Christie Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride! Starting at Salford Quays. Our amazing team of care leavers, staff, volunteers, and supporters will pedal 60 miles through the scenic towns and country lanes of Lancashire to reach the exhilarating finish line on the South Promenade in Blackpool. With cheers, music, and medals awaiting us, this event is known for its fantastic fun atmosphere, attracting over 4,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities each year.

The event takes place on Sunday 14 July.

Pure Insight creates friends and family for those without positive support networks, working alongside 500 care leavers - those leaving foster care or children’s homes - to support their successful transition to adulthood.

The money raised will go towards our peer support activity programme which helps build social connections between care leavers from 16-28 years old. Your donations will fund activities which provide a safe space where care experienced young people can forge long-lasting friendships that promote: emotional and physical well being; connection and belonging; and assist young people to develop skills and confidence to reach their potential.

Example of our activity includes; the Insight Football Team, bike rides, walks, social gatherings, challenge and culture events. These activities aim to introduce young people to new experiences, help them overcome barriers, develop skills, confidence and make new memories.
