Queenies Fight to be a Mum

Sweet girl Queenie, a French Bulldog and devoted mum of 5, is underweight and on close observation after an emergency C-section. Her surgery alone costs £2,300. Please help us raise £4,000 for her treatment and recovery ❤️

We are a small but very busy dog rehoming charity in Cornwall. We take in stray and unwanted dogs and help them to find happy new homes. We are totally dependent on kind donations from our supporters to enable us to do our work.

Story

Queenie’s Fight to Be a Mum ❤️

Meet Queenie, a beautiful French Bulldog who has already been through so much.

Queenie gave birth to five puppies — two naturally, followed by an emergency caesarean for the remaining three.

She is underweight and has been on a drip at the vets, receiving the care she desperately needs. Despite everything her little body has been through, she continues to be a devoted mum to her babies.

Queenie has now been signed over into our care because her owner simply couldn’t afford the veterinary treatment she needs. There is absolutely no judgement here — sometimes circumstances are incredibly difficult. Our priority is, and always will be, the welfare of the dog.

The surgery alone is expected to cost £2,300, and we know there may be further treatment and complications along the way.

We are working closely with Edhen's veterinary team, but if we cannot secure a foster space, she will be brought to kennels where we can continue to make sure she is safe, comfortable and properly cared for.

We are desperately trying to raise £4,000 for Queenie and puppies.

This will help cover her surgery, ongoing veterinary treatment, medication, recovery and any complications that may arise.

Queenie has done everything she can for her puppies, but she's completely exhausted. Now it’s her turn to be cared for.

Every single donation, no matter how small, could make a difference to this little girl. And if you can't donate, please share Queenie’s story — one share could reach someone who can help.

Please help us give Queenie the chance to recover, be comfortable and finally receive the care she deserves.

£5, £10, £20 — it all adds up.

Thank you for standing behind Queenie.
