St Elizabeth's Cyclists – 2025 Ride “Richmond to Guernsey”

Raising money for our beloved primary school in the heart of Richmond, a group of 35 parents and teachers are training hard on their bikes to cycle to, and in Guernsey together over two days in May 2025.

Story

St Elizabeth’s Cycle Ride “Richmond to Guernsey” from 16 May and 18 May 2025

Supporting our local Catholic primary school in the heart of Richmond!

This May 2025, a strong team of 35 volunteers will cycle more than a massive 200 kilometres to raise money for our wonderful primary school St Elizabeth’s. The school aims to nurture and guide each child to reach their full potential academically, personally and spiritually, and we as parents and staff will use our pedal power to financially support the school on that journey. In these times of school funding challenges, our financial support is required to keep the school on its highest level (“Ofsted have graded St Elizabeth’s as ‘Outstanding’ in every area and for its overall effectiveness as a school”) and we need your support in fundraising!

Specifically, the school has an ambitious plan to upgrade and enhance its IT provision as well as improve both the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds and the 2025 cyclists will support the school in that by aiming to raise more than £15,000 this year!

Every contribution large or small will make a difference. And, since St Elizabeth’s is a registered charity, all your donations qualify for Gift Aid too: just remember to tick the box when you make your pledge.

Thank you very much on behalf of the children, the school and the 2025 cyclists!
