At New North London Synagogue we aim to provide a supportive and inclusive community that faces the intellectual and spiritual challenges of today with integrity and passion. We are a community that pursues a genuine concern for diversity, and for social and environmental justice.

Story

Rabbi Wittenberg will be raising money for the Israel Guide Dog Centre and the Sarah Herzog Hospital (Metiv's) Peace of Mind programme. Funds will be split equally between these two causes.

The funds raised for the Israel Guide Dog Center will specifically be focussed on helping train dogs for IDF veterans suffering from PTSD and companion dogs for children with special needs.

The Peace of Mind programme, which NNLS has supported through hosting groups at the Synagogue, helps veteran Israeli combat soldiers face the difficult transition back into civilian life through extensive group therapy outside of their immediate home environment. Funds raised will be put towards NNLS's next group in January 2021.
