Story

Every step you take, each animal you create and each £1 you raise helps protect our planet!

Until August 31, we invite you to walk, run, or wheel your way around your local habitats in the shape of something inspired by the natural world. Track your activity on a GPS app and share your creations with us. Can you pace out a parrot in your local park? Or draw out a dinosaur in the centre of town? Share your movement masterpieces with us using #RaceForNature to be in with a chance of featuring on our social media and winning special Museum prizes for top fundraisers and most creatives entries.

Entrants of all abilities are welcome to join and you can take part alone or as part of your pack.

Fundraising is strongly encouraged and every participant who raises £25 or more will receive the Race for Nature medal. The more you raise, the more we can do to protect our incredible planet!

Take part in Race for Nature and help the Natural History Museum protect our planet.

The Museum's research and conservation projects help us better understand the importance of the natural world and our place within it. Its only through learning more about how the natural world works that we can learn how best to preserve and protect it.

Thank you for joining this celebration of biodiversity!
