Race to Zero for Universities and Colleges is uniting over 1,200 institutions worldwide to lead the charge toward a net zero future. The campaign is run by EAUC, a small charity with a mission to put sustainability at the heart of further and higher education. This global campaign is free for all to join — making sure that universities and colleges, no matter their size or funding, can participate and make a real difference. EAUC do not receive any funding to deliver this vital campaign.

Against the escalating climate crisis, this global campaign has never been more vital in accelerating net zero ambition in the sector. Universities and colleges are not just reducing carbon emissions on campuses. Together with the wider United Nations Race to Zero campaign, we highlight the ways that universities and colleges are also advancing groundbreaking research, building strong partnerships and educating future leaders to tackle climate change head-on.
