Working on St Bedes Unit I see every day the care and compassion from all members of the team to support patients and their loved ones. I am running the Great North Run and the Yorkshire Marathon to raise funds so that this amazing team can continue being able to deliver this wonderful care.

St Bede’s is our palliative care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead where we care for patients at various stages of their illness providing symptom management, respite care and end-of-life care.
