Story

In 2021 one of our colleagues, Janet Guy, sadly passed away. Her office overlooked the courtyard area and she always talked about the potential to improve the area, turning it into a peaceful and reflective space where radiology staff could take their breaks, or take time out when they just needed a moment away from the busy clinical area.

We would like this area to become a fitting tribute to Janet and other members of the Radiology we have sadly lost.

So far, we have had some artwork produced by Warrington & Vale Royal College to display on the sides of the storage box the was constructed to accommodate the waste and rubble from the building works for the CT scanner unit.

The next stage is for the storage box to be made into a flower bed type area on which pot plants, driftwood, flower filled troughs and a stone feature can be displayed to make the area more appealing and useable.
