The Raise the Roof project was begun in 2016 and in just over 2 years the money had been raised to replace the thatch on the chancel roof - amazing! So much community support took our breath away! We have now been able to complete the work to re-thatch the nave roof with the help of the Raise a Bundle for Raise the Roof campaign, which has provided just some of the money we needed for the project. We hope individual donors have felt connected to the project by sponsoring bundles of reed that are now in place on the roof of our lovely church. We have also been able to attract generous grants and donations, and have some wonderful fundraisers, thank you all!
