Dr Raj Joshi and his daughter Arusha are fundraising for The Adventure Boutique Foundation

Campaign by AB Foundation

Dr Raj Joshi and his daughter Arusha are climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for their charity The Adventure Boutique Foundation (AB Foundation), with all funds raised going to the National Centre for Integrative Oncology (NCIO).

We exist to strengthen others. We continue to combine knowledge, passion, integrity and hard work to proudly serve those who need us most; helping hospitals by funding supplies and training, funding rebuilding of communities after natural disasters and funding causes in the UK when there is a need.

Story

Dr Raj Joshi and his daughter Arusha are climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa and the tallest freestanding mountain in the world, to raise money for the AB Foundation.

The charity’s objectives are to improve livelihoods of communities around the world.

Supporting the NCIO helps to protect, preserve and promote better health, wellbeing and the quality of life for people of any age diagnosed with any form of cancer and their families or carers.

The NCIO specifically focuses on providing integrative oncology care and supporting integrative oncology education and research.

Integrative oncology is a patient-centred, evidence-informed approach to cancer care that combines conventional treatments with mind-body practices, lifestyle modifications, and natural products to improve overall well-being and quality of life.

It focuses on addressing symptoms, improving resilience, and optimising the overall treatment experience.
