On Friday, 9th October, AFC Fylde Community Foundation staff are playing Padel for 24-hours straight to ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ.
Whether itโs supporting veterans in our community to feel more connected, helping older adults improve their mobility while building companionship, or empowering young people and families to be more active and make healthier choices, AFC Fylde Community Foundationโs health and wellbeing work supports people at every stage of life.
Through accessible physical activity, social opportunities and tailored support, we help people improve their physical and mental wellbeing, reduce isolation and build stronger connections within their communities.
A ยฃ10 donation could be the difference between someone staying at home and taking that first step towards a healthier, happier and more connected life.

You can hire a court for ยฃ50 to play against us throughout the day. Two of our staff members will be on the court at all times so the court hire is for two players. You can still bring four and split the time / cost if you wish, but we will always have two staff playing.
We will be running a 'Nearest to the Pin' challenge on Ace Golf's Simulator for ยฃ10 per person (three attempts) with the winner taking half the prize pot.
Raffle tickets will be available to purchase on-the-day with plenty of amazing prizes to be won. Football scratchcards will be going around the venue as well.
As if it wasn't already going to be hard enough for our staff, you will also be able to donate to make them do forfeits so keep an eye out on our socials for what those might be!

Following the success of our 2025 fundraiser, Fylde on Foot, we wanted to make this yearโs event bigger, more ambitious and, most importantly, more meaningful for the communities we serve.
Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and we believe it is the perfect fit for our fundraiser. Its inclusive and accessible nature means it can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Whether you are an experienced player or have never picked up a racket before, the emphasis is on getting involved, having fun and being part of something positive.
All monies raised will allow us to continue delivering our health and wellbeing projects. This vital unrestricted funding helps us continue delivering and developing the projects and activities that make a real difference to residents across Fylde. It gives us the freedom to respond to local needs, support new ideas and ensure the work we do can continue to grow and have a lasting impact.
However, the day is about much more than just fundraising. It is a fantastic opportunity for our staff to come together, step outside of their usual roles and work as one team towards a shared goal.
Just as importantly, we want to bring people together from across our local community. By working alongside local businesses, sponsors, participants, residents and community groups, we can build stronger connections and create an exciting and impactful day.
Events like this simply would not be possible without the incredible support of local businesses, sponsors and community partners. We are hugely grateful to everyone who has already contributed their time, resources, expertise or financial support to help bring the event to life.

Queensway Industrial Estate, Scafell Rd, Lytham Saint Annes FY8 3HE.
