We have just over one week remaining before our Hufaaz leave us for their homes in England. It is customary for us to give the Haafizh a gift before they return home for the huge sacrifice they make during Ramadan.

The Haafiz leave behind their loving family to lead us in every prayer during Ramadan. They spend all day practicing and memorising so they can recite the entire Quran, from start to finish in Taraweeh prayer for us.

Along with the Hufaaz we have Shaikh Mustafa who has been teaching our children Quran and leading all our obligatory prayers as well as lectures and Khutbahs. Our imams serve us 24 hours a day for a month during Ramadan. Imagine, how much this amount of work would cost us if it were any other profession. But in return we do not pay a salary. They would not take it. So we give a cash gift. Please be generous in your gift.
