Our 3- and 4- year olds have been learning about the importance of having a masjid in every community, and the concept of charity. They have now been invited to participate in their very first fundraising challenge!
They will be learning about the best of creation, Prophet Muhammad (saw), and collecting sponsors as motivation! Please show them your support and encourage them with your sponsorship - the highest 3 fundraisers will get a special prize!
The benefits of giving charity and the importance of building a masjid are made clear in the Qur'an:
Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him, you will be returned (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:245)
[That light shines] through houses [of worship] which Allah has ordered to be raised, and where His Name is mentioned. He is glorified there morning and evening. (Surah Nur, 24:36)
