Campaign by Story
Our 3- and 4- year olds have been learning about the pillars of Islam and the masjid as the House of Allah. They have now been invited to participate in their very first fundraising journey!
The children will be taking on the challenge of a sponsored 1-MILE WALK in the beautiful Walthamstow Wetlands to raise money to help complete Noor ul Islam's new Masjid.
Please show them your support and encourage them with your sponsorship. Every child participating will receive a certificate and award to commemorate their achievement.
The benefits of giving charity and the importance of building a masjid are made clear in the Qur'an:
Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him, you will be returned (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:245)
The child who raises the most funds will also get a special prize!
