People across Leicestershire observing the holy Muslim month of Ramadan are being urged to support an appeal to create the East Midlands first dedicated childrens hospital in Leicester by Ramadan Radio.

The station, which broadcasts across the county over the holy period, have thrown their support behind the Leicester Childrens Hospital Appeal and are encouraging their thousands of listeners to consider supporting to the appeal both during Ramadan and beyond.

The appeal aims to help create a new state-of-the-art childrens hospital at the Leicester Royal Infirmary where, for the first time, all childrens hospital services will be located together under one roof.
