Story

Across England, Scotland and Wales, we're lucky to have paths, tracks and trails on which we can explore our beautiful landscape. These are special places where memories are made and shared.

They've been fought for and protected by the Ramblers, thanks to support from people like you.

Places like:

Our National Parks and Trails, such as the Peak District, Snowdonia and the Cairngorms.

The England and Wales Coast Paths, which provide spectacular views across our seas and oceans.

Scotlands' dramatic landscapes which are open for all to enjoy

Over two million acres of countryside in England and Wales, including huge swathes of land previously inaccessible to walkers.

We've taken great strides, but there's more work to be done.

For millions of people in England, Scotland, and Wales, whose health and well-being desperately need a dose of nature, these places are out of reach. For many, green space is too far away or too hard to get to. Others lack the confidence of knowing where to go and how to get out walking.

We'll do whatever it takes to make sure everyone everywhere can enjoy nature, on foot and protect those places. Together, we can remove these barriers to walking. The simple pleasure of walking belongs to everyone: no matter where you live or your walk of life.

Your support will help make sure great walks are within everyone's reach and that these places are protected, for everyone, for always.
