Story
On Sunday 16th October we have a group of runners taking part in the 10K raising money for the amazing Redbrik Foundation in memory of our dear colleague Kirstie Snape who a few weeks ago lost her brave battle with cancer.
Kirstie had worked for Redbrik since 2014 in various roles eventually being our Operations Manager taking responsibility for a variety of jobs including help organise the Half Marathon / 10k which being from Chesterfield she dearly loved.
In March 2021 she was sadly diagnosed Cancer and after a brave fight with many ups, downs, highs and lows she passed away in hospital with her family by her side on Sunday 4th September 2022.
This year we have a team of 15 runners of varying ages and abilities taking part and all money raised will be donated to Ashgate Hospice via the Redbrik Foundation as per the wishes of her family.
Redbrik was built on an ethos of transparency, compassion and care, and were always working to give back to the community we serve, so in 2020 we established the Redbrik Foundation to improve the lives of people and communities across South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire.
