Support The Railway Family This Christmas

Christmas should be a joyful time for our dedicated railway colleagues, recognising their vital, often unseen, contribution to keeping the UK's railways running.

However, many within the railway community are facing a harsh reality. Our charity is seeing a significant increase in workers and their families approaching us for critical assistance, not for luxuries, but for basic necessities. We are helping colleagues pay essential bills, such as heating their homes and providing school uniforms.

The struggle is real:

• Last year, we distributed £112,000 specifically to prevent railway families from becoming homeless.

• We provided £6,986 for emergency food to ensure families did not go hungry.
