The College is proud to hold one of the largest medical history collections in the world. This fundraising appeal will enable us to preserve these items for the future, as well as make them available to the public, both locally and internationally.

Story

Our collections chart the history of medicine and science. Careful custodianship over three centuries has ensured that the collection is generally in good condition but it is important that we can continue our work of preservation and digitisation, as well as developing web content and a range of public events and exhibitions.

Your donations will help us to:
Develop free onsite and online exhibitions
Digitise and put online more unique archival manuscripts
Develop innovative learning programmes

About the charity

We help qualified doctors to pursue their careers in specialist (internal) medicine through medical examinations, education and training. We also provide resources and information to support and facilitate professional development for physicians throughout their careers.
