We’re so excited to be partnered with Active Training World (ATW) for our first ever Triathlon. There are many ways to get involved, including a family friend relay. Check out our superheroes who are already signed up and fundraising for us!.......Hear from our participants on why they are participating:

I’m taking part in this sponsored triathlon for my daughter, Penelope, who was born with symbrachydactyly. REACH came into our lives only a year and a half ago, when Penelope was just seven. How we went seven years without knowing about this incredible charity, I honestly don’t know. Since finding REACH, we’ve met the most amazing people, shared stories, laughter, and tears, and felt truly understood and supported in ways I never imagined. REACH do so much for children and families like ours, and this triathlon is my way of giving something back. I’m doing this not only for the charity, but for my Penelope too — who shows me every single day that you can do anything you put your mind to. And while I’ll be taking part on the Sunday, Penelope will be taking part in her very first triathlon on the Saturday. I couldn’t be any prouder of her. 💛 So now, I’m taking on this challenge with that same mindset. For REACH. And for her. - Hannah Lamb, Reach Parent

I want to do this sponsored triathlon because I really love Reach. It has helped me feel more confident, supported, and happy, and I have made lots of new friends who are just like me. I love playing sports, especially swimming, and it makes me feel proud of myself. With your help, I want to show everyone what I can do. - Penelope Lamb, Reach Child

My name is Luca. I have been a member of Reach since I was 3 years old. I love sport, particularly tennis, running and swimming. I compete for my school in cross country and track events and love the feeling of running. I like to push and challenge myself and that is why I am taking part in the triathlon challenge and to meet Clare Cashmore again and talk about competing. Clare did a talk at my school and was so inspiring. I really look forward to taking part. -Luca Reese, Reach Child

My first competitive sport race since school PE. I love challenging myself and pushing outside of my comfort zone so I can live my life to the fullest and prove to my community that anything is possible - Issy Wright, Reach Adult

It’s so so important that we continue to raise money for the charities that need our support. REACH is one of those charities. As an ambassador for the charity, I see the pay off of every single pound raised, whether that’s at the annual family weekend, feedback and posts from young people taking part in programmes like the 18-25 programme or parents getting support and when they don’t know where to turn for answers and advice. Now, I’m not great at running! And I can’t even use having the baby as an excuse… I was never any good! But every step I take during the triathlon, will remind me why I’m doing it. Because I wish I’d have had Reach in my life growing up and I want to do all I can to ensure it’s in the lives of children and adults with limb differences for years to come so that no one is left out of this gorgeous community - Melissa Johns, Reach Ambassador

Finlay is my son he is a reach child and loves to be active so let’s get moving! Georgina Shepherd, Reach Parent

We are doing this race to show every child with a limb difference that courage has no limits, strength has no shape, and they are already more powerful than they know. It’s a chance for us all to show each other that we can do anything if we put our minds to it - Jay Howard, Reach Ambassador

Reach volunteer Lesley G has dusted off her trainers, persuaded her husband to get on his bike, and their very good friend to don a swimsuit and become our first team registering for the Relay Race! Go the Unreachables! - The Reach Team
