🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Team Reading Buses Takes on the Aqua Route Walkathon for Berkshire Youth! 💙

On Saturday 30 August 2025, the fantastic Academy Team from Reading Buses will be donning their walking boots and taking on an 11-mile sponsored walk to raise vital funds for Berkshire Youth!

Starting from the Reading Buses Depot at 09:00hrs, the team will follow the Riverside route to Henley, representing their well-loved Aqua route. Although there's no walkway along the full bus route, the riverside path offers a safe and scenic alternative that still captures the spirit of the Aqua line!

They’re walking to raise money for Berkshire Youth, a local charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people across the county to give them the best possible opportunities to succeed, be heard and feel valued. The charity provides safe spaces through its youth clubs and centres and works out and about in the community where young people are - be it a park or a shopping precinct, with the aim to engage young people in more positive activities. Berkshire Youth delivers a variety of youth-led activities and personal development programmes including supporting those disengaging with their education. Overall, they empower and inspire young people to make better choices helping them build brighter futures through trusted support and new opportunities.

This year, 2025 sees Berkshire Youth celebrate its 85th anniversary of supporting, empowering and inspiring children and young people.
