On 8th March our wee TM Centre was destroyed by the Union Street fire.

We are so grateful for all your lovely messages of love and support, and know that we are all feeling the loss together. This wasn't just our TM Centre, it was your TM Centre, a place where so many memories were formed and friendships made.

Our wee little room above the station, tucked away in the corner of the 3rd floor with it's shaking floors and beeping doors (!) was a sanctuary for so many; a place of peace, stillness, laughter, connection and refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city centre below.

We are so saddened by everything that has been lost, especially the irreplaceable items like photos and the archives documenting 50 years of the TM Centre in Glasgow.

But change is good. Out of destruction comes progress, growth and light.

We’d long since outgrown the space. As you can see from the pictures, we were forever challenging how many people we could fit into a 600sq ft room! Nature has provided us with an opportunity to find somewhere bigger. Somewhere better. A new space for our community to thrive.

Our key priorities for the coming weeks are:

- Find a new temporary space to continue our sessions asap

- Buy Angela a new laptop!

- Start to replace those items that can be replaced – knowledge, books, the TV, shop stock, yoga mats etc.

In the long term:

- Turbo charge our long standing plans to build a brand new purpose built TM Centre according to the principles of Vedic Architecture
