The impact of Covid19, inflation, food scarcity through shortage of fertiliser, and the decimation of the fishing industry has destroyed the livelihoods of thousands of Sri Lankans, leaving families without income, destitute and dependent on aid.
Without support, many more children are at risk of abandonment through poverty and are denied their human right to grow up in a family, and access to education.
