Help Us Fund a Properly Installed and Sustainable Sensory Space š
Why Our Sensory Space Matters
Sensory spaces play a powerful role in supporting childrenās emotional wellbeing, development, and inclusion. For many children, especially those with additional needs, sensory equipment can help with calming, focus, communication, and selfāregulation.
A wellādesigned sensory environment gives children a safe place to pause, reset, and explore at their own pace ā something that benefits all children, not just those with identified needs.
What We Have ā and What Weāre Hoping to Improve
We currently have bubble tubes in our sensory room that we installed ourselves. The children enjoy them and theyāve been a positive addition to our space. However, these DIY versions arenāt as sturdy, durable, or purposeābuilt as the professional bubble tubes used in specialist sensory centres.
We would love to offer
Visual equipment: bubble tubes, LED light panels, projectors, infinity mirrors, fibreāoptic lights
Tactile equipment: textured wall panels, soft play shapes, sensory mats, fidget items
Auditory equipment: calming music players, sound panels, whiteānoise machines
Why We Need Your Support
As a nursery school, our budget is very limited. Larger items like professional sensory equipment are simply not achievable without fundraising or grant support.
This fundraiser will help us:
purchase a robust, professional equipment
ensure secure installation and longāterm safety
enhance inclusion and wellbeing for all children
Every donation ā no matter the size ā brings us closer to creating a calmer, more inclusive sensory environment.
The Difference Youāll Make
Your support will directly benefit the children who use our sensory space, helping to create an environment where they can:
feel calm and secure
regulate emotions
engage confidently
be included and supported
āEvery child deserves access to a space where they feel calm, supported and included.ā
