The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileThe Friends of Red Hill need to ask for your help, in response to the Coronavirus crisis. It is affecting the children at Red Hill and their families, but you can help by making a donation today.
We appreciate how the current circumstances are having a detrimental impact on the Red Hill community but especially those considered more vulnerable. As the largest primary school in the area (we serve five boroughs), our need is greater than most.
In the last few weeks the school have seen a surge of people contacting the school to say the Coronavirus is going to have a severe impact on their families; they have already delivered food packages to families (from your kind donations) and the need will continue. Some families have come forward to us these last few days for the first time due to a change in personal circumstances.
At the moment, those in receipt of benefit related free school meals are receiving food bags and £15 food vouchers from Nourish and The Pioneer Academy. We would like to further supplement what is already in place as well as support those who may not be eligible but are in difficult circumstances.
Please donate what you can to help us deliver another package to a family from Red Hill. If you can help in any other way, please contact the school.
We understand the Coronavirus has caused an extreme situation for the whole community and we recognise you will be thinking of those close to you at this time. On behalf of everyone at Red Hill, thank you for your support.
This appeal has been organised by the Friends of Red Hill, some concerned parents and staff.
