RED Construction Group always aims to leave a positive legacy for the communities around our building projects, and the redevelopment of Townsend House is no different.
As we all know, this past year has been a difficult one- especially for families who were already struggling with poverty and crisis. This has left far too many children and young people at risk of falling behind in their education, and never getting the opportunity to realise their potential.
This is why we have specifically chosen to support local children and young people in Westminster through Buttle UK's Chances for Children grants. These grants provide up to £2,000 worth of essential items, like a child's bed, a school uniform, or a bike to ride, things all children should have but that some parents or carers cannot afford. It can also provide the resources needed to overcome trauma, like counselling and therapy to give them a safe place to express their thoughts and emotions, and in some cases funds can be allocated towards extra tuition and other educational needs.
We hope you will join us in building a better future for as many children, families and young people as we can while we also work on the redevelopment of Townsend House.
