RedTribe works in partnership with a remote and traditional Maasai community to bring hope for a better future by improving health, education, and alleviating poverty.
Story
The rains havent come as was hoped for in Olorte, so we want to prepare to step up in our efforts to ensure food security for the Maasai community. If we dont do this we expect severe malnutrition amongst the most vulnerable.
This could be a fantastic way to make a massive difference.
We are aiming to raise £25000 to respond to the crisis in these 5 ways:
Expand our feeding program at the Maasai Academy.
To make food parcels available to the most vulnerable.
To provide malnutrition pacts for the clinic to give to children in need.
To plant 1 acre of maize and beans for 250 families.
Expand our Water Project to reach more villages
There is still no end in sight to this drought crisis, so we must get the resources needed to save lives and stop people plunging into catastrophic levels of hunger and starvation.
David Beasley (Executive Director of the World Food Program)
This Maasai community are outside the reach of the World Food Program, and we are the only charity working in this remote area so we must respond, and wed love your help.
