Power to the People: a New Generator for Refugee Info Bus!

We're raising money to replace our old, worn-out generator so that we can continue to provide our mobile charging service to the refugee communities in Calais and Dunkirk.

Our phone charging service is possibly our most highly valued one. Living rough means no easy access to electricity and so refugees in Calais and Dunkirk are reliant on power being brought to them.
A reliable generator that can cope with the demand of hundreds of devices every week is vital to this and unfortunately our current generator has been pushed to its limits. It has provided many hours of charge, in all weather conditions, and has undergone numerous repairs - it's still just about going for the moment but we need to replace it before it can't go anymore!
Without a charged phone, refugees cannot contact other organisations when they need their help. They can't stay in touch with their friends and family and let them know that they are safe. They are unable to access emergency services if they find themselves in a life-threatening situation. They are cut off from the Internet and the wider world. A charged phone empowers people to stay connected and to access vital information and services.
A working generator is crucial to our operation in Northern France - can you help us to replace our old one and give power to the people who need it most?
