The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileOn the 2nd of July a group of young people from Regenerate will take part in their biggest challenge and adventure yet. Getting out of the estate after a tough few years and venturing to the Scottish Highlands where the team will attempt to walk the beautiful but challenging West Highland Way.
Wild camping along the way, the young people will push through the blisters, the aches and the pains and walk the 100 mile hike, through forests, alongside locks and ending the hike by climbing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK.
We are doing this walk for two reasons and for two major outcomes..
1. To create an opportunity for adventure and challenge for young people in our community where they will grow in confidence, perseverance, resilience, leadership skills and determination.
2. To raise much needed funds for Regenerate to support the mental health of young people in our community but providing mentoring and coaching, safe spaces such as youth club sessions and new employment opportunities for young people facing barriers to employment.
