On the 4th June 2023 we discovered we had been broken in to.

Three teenage males entered our secure gardens and ripped the cctv camera off the wall which has broken that and damaged all the hardwiring before then trashing the vegetable beds that the children have been working so hard on.

Plus other damage.

We were, and still are devastated.

We are a team of volunteers who give our time up to make this space better for the children.

To now be the victim of mindless vandalism is heartbreaking.

We have been truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and kind offers of help from so many lovely people in the last 2 weeks.

In a time of such hurt and upset, to read some of the wonderful, kind caring comments has been truly heartwarming.

It turned out that not only did they cause us senseless damage, they also risked the lives of many other people by throwing the camera on to the train tracks 😔

The camera has kindly been recovered for us by network rail, although it is beyond repair.

We are blown away by peoples messages and offers of help.
