The Southwest has one of the highest concentrations of veterans in the UK with between 16%-20% leaving service with PTSD or another mental health condition. (Mental Health Foundation).
Based in Devon, we work closely with the NHS, Op. Courage and other military charities to provide support as part of a wider recovery pathway. Our focus is military veterans but also spouses/adult family and those in-service in transition.
In 2021 we launched Artemis, an arm of the charity just for women veterans. We are the only charity in the south-west offering some activities exclusively for women.
