Emergency Relief for Venezuela
On 24 June 2026, two devastating earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude, struck Venezuela in rapid succession. Residential buildings and infrastructure collapsed across Caracas and La Guaira, leaving hospitals overwhelmed and thousands of displaced families sheltering without reliable access to safe drinking water, sanitation, or basic household items.
This disaster has struck a country already facing profound economic challenges, leaving communities highly vulnerable.
"Local organisations are almost always the first to respond when disaster strikes. They understand the communities they serve... and can often begin delivering assistance long before international organisations are able to mobilise." — The Yashchenko Foundation
To ensure the fastest impact, we are funding vetted Venezuelan NGOs already on the ground. Your donation directly provides life-saving emergency shelter, food, WASH supplies, and vital healthcare to survivors.
Our Solution: Empowering Local Heroes
While international aid takes time, local Venezuelan organizations are already on the ground saving lives. Rather than establishing our own presence, we are raising $115,000 (USD) to fund experienced, rigorously vetted Venezuelan humanitarian organizations.
This locally-led approach ensures your donation reaches affected families faster while strengthening local institutions.
