Fenn spent all 5 months and 5 days of his little life in hospital, requiring medical care at the Neonatal ICU in John Radcliffe Hospital, the Paediatric ICU, ward G4 (general surgical) and E1 Ocean Ward (cardiac ward) in Southampton Children’s Hospital.

Throughout his life, Fenn and ourselves, his parents, relied heavily on multiple charities that helped him and us navigate this traumatic time of our lives.

Even following his death we had a huge amount of support from these charities helping us cope with the grief from losing our baby boy.

We are certain that, if not for these charities helping us and him, the little life Fenn got to enjoy on this planet simply would not have been possible. As we mourn Fenn's passing we created Fenn Foundation to be able to give back to those charities that helped Fenn during his life. In turn helping other children and families navigating the incredible difficult journey of having their child in hospital.

We are launching our first fundraising campaign to celebrate what would have been Fenn’s first birthday, December 19th 2025. Your donations will help these organisations continue their vital work for other children like Fenn and for families facing the hardest moments of their lives.

Our ambition is to raise funds for these charities every year, so Fenn’s legacy lives on through our work.
