Thanks for visiting this JustGiving page to remember Mike.

Mike was one of the founding Trustees of FORCE which was established in 2003 and he served continuously since then as Trustee and Membership Secretary, and as an active participant in our Volunteer Days across Richmond and Hounslow Boroughs. Mike was a big part of FORCE and everyone will miss him very much.

FORCE was a charity close to Mike’s heart and Mike’s family have requested donations in Mike’s memory to be made to FORCE. Thank-you very much for your support and for choosing to remember Mike in this way.

An update (September 2024)

Thank-you to everyone who so kindly donated to FORCE in Mike's memory. In discussion with Sally, Mike's wife, we have decided to use the funds to purchase a new carved bench dedicated to Mike. As Mike was a great birder, the design of the bench will feature greater and lesser spotted woodpeckers and it will be located in the south west corner of Craneford Playing Fields overlooking the new river restoration site. The bench is due to be installed next month and we hope you will be able to visit it when you are next in the area.
