Sleeping outside in cardboard boxes. Not the sexiest charity challenge, is it?

Well, it's not meant to be!

The Rentstart SleepOut will see dozens of local people giving up one night of comfort in order to change lives. In our community we have homelessness that is visible- people live in boxes, tents, old abandoned boats - and homelessness that in unseen - sofa surfing, vulnerable housing and more.

Every year Rentstart works with local people who are facing the prospect of homelessness, and those who are experiencing homelessness. We house around 140 people every year, and provide holistic support for almost 500 people.

Many people are surprised to learn that homelessness is a problem in our community. Imagine, if Rentstart didnt exist, how many more people would be facing and experiencing homelessness in Walton, Esher, Weybridge and beyond?
