The Research and Development Fund helps to bring accessible and relevant research and innovation projects to Worcestershire's patients.
With funds raised the dedicated Research and Innovation Team work too:
- Assess the efficacy of new medication, diagnostics, and treatment regimes, helping to build the evidence for new approaches to improve patient care
- Help some patients to secure access to medication and treatment not usually available
- Improve outcomes for all patients, not just those participating in research
We are dedicated to driving improvement in the care that our patients receive, and we are involved in a diverse range of research, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, surgery, and women’s health - Member of Research and Innovation Team
