This June, we are hoping to come together and Rally for Change through our tennis tournament! - aiming to raise vital funds for people experiencing homelessness.

Join us at St Columba’s Tennis Club for an afternoon of tennis, refreshments and fun in the sun, all in support of the work RESTART does for those facing homelessness in London. Whether you want to play matches, take part in fun coaching sessions, bid for prizes at our auction, or simply spectate and socialise, if you give us your Sunday afternoon, you’ll also be giving our guests the chance to be supported towards the safe and fulfilling life they deserve.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: everyone deserves safety, dignity and the chance to move forward.

This year has already started with:

• a new footcare service at the drop-in for guests on their feet all day, receiving washing and hygiene care from nurses

• GP surgery visits providing essential floating support and advice

• support for guests to access free dental check-ups and eye tests

• much-loved sessions including Film Club, Gardening, Therapy Dogs and Zumba - creating safe spaces for connection and community

• supporting 47 people through Casework in just the first quarter of the year, helping men, women and families take steps towards stability and an end to homelessness

But the need continues to grow.

At our Drop-in, we now see five new guests every week - each needing food, safety, respite from the streets and access to support.

Across London and the UK, the housing crisis is making it increasingly difficult for people to secure and sustain accommodation, with rising rents and long waiting lists leaving many trapped in uncertainty.

At the end of June, we will also run our Summer Resource Fair, helping protect guests during the hotter months. For people sleeping rough, summer can be dangerous - bringing risks such as heatstroke, dehydration, sunburn, exhaustion and worsening health conditions.

As we move into summer, we know this season looks very different for the people we support.
