In the heart of Zombo, Northwest Uganda, young girls and women face a formidable challenge: the unavailability of affordable hygiene products during their menstrual periods.

Period poverty, a consequence of gender inequality, cultural taboos, and financial constraints, results in school-aged girls missing three days of school each month, accounting for a staggering 18% of the academic year.

TOUCEO ("Trust Offering Underprivileged Children an Educational Opportunity"), a UK registered non-profit organization, is determined to tackle these critical issues. We aim to raise funds for a sewing project in Uganda, a project that could be a meaningful change for the young girls and women of Zombo.

Our initiative involves partnering with local organizations to provide training for school dropout girls and women in Zombo.
