Teams are expected from many of BCF’s member companies and beyond to take part in BCF’s fifth charity Bike Ride, taking place on Friday 4th July, starting at BCF’s Coventry office.
The event is a great way to team build, get fit and also raise money for Myton Hospices, who are leaders in compassionate end of life care; their work centres on patient wellbeing and involving them in decisions about their care.
The reason for the change of supporting charity this year is the recent passing of our young colleague, Callum Plummer, who sadly lost his battle with cancer early this year.
He was cared for at Myton Hospices, and we know this gave him and his family support when they needed it most. The cause is personal to the BCF, and with this in mind, we hope that our riders will help us to fundraise more than ever before.
Three routes will be on offer to suit all abilities - 100km, 52km & 35km. All routes are well signposted and take in the scenic countryside and villages through Warwickshire.
2024's event raised over £19,000 and we hope this year's event will be just as successful.
Further information about how you will be able to raise money as a rider will be sent out once you have registered.
You will also receive details of the routes and overnight accommodation details for those of you who would like to arrive the evening before the event.
Note that secure bike storage will be available at the BCF office the night before the ride. Each registered rider will also receive a BCF-branded jersey in their chosen size.
