Appeal for Ringo

Campaign by Oldham Cats

Ringo, 6, was rescued as a stray. Although microchipped, his owner didn’t want him back. He’s suffering with painful mouth ulcers and sores on his legs and needs a prescription diet, medication and special body suits. Please donate to help this sweet

Oldham Cats is a volunteer run UK registered charity dedicated to rescuing and re-homing stray, abandoned and unwanted cats & kittens. We have been helping cats in the Oldham, Rochdale & Middleton areas of Greater Manchester, England since 1995. Our patron is the keyboarding legend Rick Wakeman.

Story

Meet Ringo, a beautiful 6-year-old boy who was found wandering as a stray. Although he was microchipped, heartbreakingly his previous owner no longer wanted him. Despite everything he’s been through, Ringo has remained the sweetest, most affectionate soul you could meet.

After bringing him into our care, we discovered that Ringo was suffering from painful sores and ulcers in his mouth and on his legs. These conditions are causing him a great deal of discomfort and require intensive treatment and monitoring.

Ringo now needs:

• A special prescription diet to help his body heal

• Expensive medications for at least the next 3 months

• Regular monitoring and veterinary care

• Specially tailored body suits to stop him from further irritating his skin and to allow his wounds to heal

The costs for Ringo’s treatment are significant, but we are absolutely determined to get this lovely boy well again. He deserves the chance to live a happy, comfortable life and eventually find the loving forever home he deserves.

If you’re able to help Ringo on his journey to recovery, any donation—big or small—will make a huge difference. Even sharing this post helps us reach more people who may be able to support him.

Thank you for caring about cats like Ringo and giving them a second chance. ❤️

🐶 Let’s help Ringo heal and give him the future he deserves.
