Education is the foundation for personal dignity, social mobility and opportunity. Everyone deserves access to education.

The Muktangan NGO in Mumbai runs seven schools and an integrated teacher training facility. Muktangan trains local women from disadvantaged communities, giving them a vocation, and helps them educate young children from those disadvantaged communities. The UK Trust exists to raise awareness of, and funds for, Muktangan in Mumbai.

The results speak for themselves. 3,800 children benefit directly through active learning year on year. 99% average school pass percentage in 9 years of the SSC examinations. 98% of alumni are pursuing higher education (2000+alumni). It is a worthy beneficiary, and uses its’ funds efficiently.

- Just £12 will fund a child’s pre-school for a month

- £30 will fund a child’s primary school education for a month

- £50 will fund a child’s secondary school education for a month

- £500 will fund a child’s education for a year

- £9000 will fund a school for a whole term

- £27000 will fund a school for a whole year

The Dunwich Dynamo is a cycle ride which takes place annually in July, on the Saturday closest to the full moon. This year the ride is on 12 July.

It is quite a personal challenge. The ride is approximately 112 miles from London Fields park in Hackney, in London, to Dunwich on the Suffolk coast. And the ride is overnight!
