She may have been abandoned on the streets of Bahrain by her previous owner, but she has never let that dim her sweetness. From the moment she was rescued, River showed exactly who she is: a gentle, cuddly soul who wants nothing more than to be close to her humans.

River is the definition of a lap cat. Sit on the sofa for more than a moment, and she’ll appear like a tiny shadow — hopping onto your lap, edging her face close to yours, rubbing her head against you, and asking for love with her whole heart. She follows her people from room to room, curious about everything you do, always wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing. When she’s not snoozing, she is the sweetest little companion — playful, loving, and completely devoted.
