Story

The RNLI Around the Mount Open Water Swim is a one and a half mile open water sea swim around the iconic St Michaels Mount in Mounts Bay, Cornwall.

This challenge is a must for all sea swimmers and promises to be great fun. All money raised will go towards the Lifeboat and Lifeguard services in West Cornwall.

This popular event is strictly limited to 300 swimmers and is open to anyone over the age of 14. Please note, participants should be intermediate or experienced open water swimmers.

Registration for the swim is £30 and we ask everyone to pledge to raise £70 through sponsorship.

The swim is an absolutely fantastic event largely run by volunteers, without whom it wouldn't be possible. It promises to be great fun with a fantastic atmosphere, so do come along and get involved.

If swimming isn't your thing but you would still like to be involved, please get in touch as there are many volunteering opportunities available on the day.

The swim was due to take place on 6th July but has been rescheduled due to poor weather and will now take place on Sat 14th Sept.
